Apple has rolled out an exciting new feature for iMessage users: the Apple Cash sticker pack. Starting December 10, iPhone users, including those with the iPhone 17 models and iPhone 16e, can now enjoy a new animated, iridescent sticker set that makes sending money just a little more fun. The update, which doesn’t require a full iOS 26 release, is part of a server-side switch, appearing automatically in the Messages Sticker section.

The Apple Cash Sticker Pack

The new Apple Cash sticker pack isn’t a part of the actual Apple Cash service, but a separate sticker set that appears in the Messages app. While sending and receiving money remains the same, users now have the option to add some flair to their transactions. It’s a fun, casual way to split bills, thanks to playful, emoji-style stickers designed to be both functional and cute.

To find and use the new stickers, follow these steps:

  1. Open a conversation in iMessage.
  2. Tap the + button next to the text field.
  3. Choose Stickers.
  4. Swipe until the Apple Cash set appears.

Each sticker is designed with an iridescent texture that glints as it animates. The stickers echo the glossy look of Apple Wallet’s payment cards, creating a cohesive and stylish design that’s now portable in your chats.

Animated Stickers for Fun Transactions

Apple’s Apple Cash sticker pack adds an extra layer of personality to money exchanges. Whether you’re requesting a bill split from a friend or sending a gift through Apple Cash, these iridescent stickers make the process a bit more fun. The stickers’ animation adds a playful touch that matches the casual nature of most iMessage chats, making them perfect for sending a friendly reminder about that dinner bill.

These stickers have been seamlessly integrated into the iMessage app. Unlike other sticker packs that require users to go to the Sticker App Store to download, the Apple Cash sticker pack appears by default in the Messages app, sitting alongside the system stickers. The simplicity of the update is part of its charm, as it doesn’t require any additional steps or downloads.

A Glimpse into Apple’s Sticker Future

This update adds to Apple’s growing collection of sticker packs within iMessage. Apple previously released stickers for the Fitness app and the Developer app, and now the company continues to experiment with how it can incorporate sticker sets into daily interactions on iOS. The new Apple Cash sticker pack is just the latest example of Apple’s focus on enhancing the iMessage experience, creating a more engaging and personalized user interface for its millions of users.

By offering stickers that reflect the transactions people already make in the app—like emoji and GIFs used when splitting bills—Apple has provided an extra layer of creativity. Imagine sending your request for that dinner payment, but this time with a shiny, animated sticker attached. It’s small but delightful additions like this that keep iPhone users engaged and entertained.
